Economist Nathalia Rodríguez Consultant
Major in Economics. Specialist in Value Chains, competitiveness, project assessment and market research.
Nathalia Raquel Rodríguez Romero is an Economist by the Universidad Nacional de Asunción (UNA), has a major in Economics by the Torcuato Di Tella University, Argentina, also has studied Econometrics at the same university. Currently she is in the thesis preparation phase for the Master in Project Management at the Americana University.
She did courses in the fields of innovation management, industrial competitiveness, economic development and Value Chain analysis. She worked as a consultant at the World Bank in technical assessment in areas related competitiveness non-lending and in supporting of reforms in indicators framework of Doing Business in Paraguay and value chains studies, as well as consultant for the Paraguayan Industrial Union on innovation management issues.
In addition, for the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) she did consulting in the areas of investment opportunities, investment framework for pension funds and fostering micro, small and medium enterprises. Thus, she played roles at the Industry and Trade Ministry (MIC), as General Director of Industrial Policy where she worked in the areas of development of statistics and studies of de industrial sector, as coordinator of the Technical Studies Unit for the Industry (UTEPI) of the MIC, participated in publications about Industrial competitiveness, country cost, Leather Value Chains, Soy Value Chain and about the pharmaceutical industry with the technical and financial support of the United Nation Industrial Development Organization. In the beginning of her career, she undertook an internship at the Paraguayan Central Bank in the Department of International Economy.
At A-Fines S.R.L., she has done several projects related to Value Chains, private investment projects and Entrepreneurship and Angel Investment studies.
